About ADC

The Arkansas Disability Coalition (ADC) is a statewide non-profit 501(c)3 organization incorporated in 1976.  For almost 40 years the ADC has served families of children with disabilities, individuals with disabilities, and the educational, health and community-based services that support these Arkansans.  Today we are still committed to the empowerment of individuals and their families, allowing them to pursue opportunities for improvement in health, education, quality of life, and inclusion, leading to productive independent lives.

The ADC serves the entire state through programs such as the Family-2-Family Health Information Center (F2F).  Regional coordinators (health-related) are located throughout the state to provide a more local presence and better meet specific needs.

Our board of directors consists of up to 15 members, who are made up of individuals with disabilities, professionals dedicated to serving Arkansas families, and parents of children with disabilities aged birth to 26.  According to grant requirements, at least 51% of the ADC board are parents of children with disabilities.

We are continually seeking ways to expand our services to underserved areas of Arkansas.  And, we will continue to respond to the unique needs of today's families by providing them supports that will allow them to knowledgably engage in their child's individual health and educational needs.
